Developmental Program
Open to ALL Boys and Girls in the Jericho School District
As per the Jericho School District, basketball teams are aligned by calendar school year (born December 1st – November 30th).
Pre-K / 4-year-olds - Winter
- Co-Ed
- Weekend (Sat or Sun) basketball clinic for 1-hour
- Instructional sessions focusing on introducing kids to the sport and working on basic basketball.
- Dates of Play: Winter season – Early December thru mid-to-late February – approx. 8 weeks.
- Jericho High School Field House
Kindergarten - Winter
- Co-Ed

Recreational Program
Open to ALL Boys and Girls in the Jericho School District

Third Grade thru Eight Grade – Winter
- Boys and Girls divisions
- Approx an eight (8) week season; starting early December and ending mid-to-late February.
- Weekly games – Girls games Saturday 10a to 1p; Boys games Sunday Afternoon 12:15p to 5p
- Locations: Jackson Elementary (3rd grade), Jericho High School Field House (Grades 4 and 5), Sam Springer Gym (JHS – Grades 6, 7, and 8)
- Weekly instructional sessions offered SEPARATE from the games: sessions to focus on skills and instruction
- Jericho kids playing and learning, NO games against other towns.
Travel Program
Open to ALL Boys and Girls in the Jericho School District
As per the Jericho School District, basketball teams are aligned by calendar school year (born December 1st – November 30th).
Travel Basketball – October thru April – Winter
- Boys and Girls
- Grades Three through Eight – one team per grade.
- If there are enough players for two teams, there could be a second team.
- TWO Midweek practices for 60-90 minutes
- Multiple Games per week – starting in late November/early December and going to April; Playoffs possible.
- September – two tryout dates – must attend both tryout dates. All players must register for the tryouts.
- Early October – teams announced (12 players per team) and practices to start.
- Teams Registered – final rosters submitted to the league.
- Trainer and Parent Admin are on the sideline only.
- League referees to officiate games.
- 12 to 18 games per year; will depend on age
